Smruti Mirchandani

Ms. Mirchandani brings significant research and medical device industry knowledge to the team. Ms. Mirchandani has unique experience in breakthrough technology development, prototyping and process development in the fields of hearing aids, catheters, and pressure sensors. She has led the development of cardiovascular pressure catheters and a REBOA device. 

Ms. Mirchandani has worked in medical device start-up and challenging OEM supplier development and manufacturing organizations. In her product development roles she has granted 5 patents (US and international) in the field of hearing aids, piezo actuators, and diode-photovoltaic charging systems. Additionally, Ms. Mirchandani has contributed to the MDR transition for class III and class II products, demonstrating her expertise in regulatory compliance and quality assurance

With hands-on experience in characterizing materials, engineering acumen, and product and process development to successfully deliver products, Smruti is leading Ascense Medical's efforts to develop the Complion break through platform to meet the needs of the future for the aortic markets.
